M3 Road Accident, 7 May 2008
Read MoreWednesday morning, 7 May 2008, Lynda took me to Harrison Motorsports to pick up my faithful M3, which had been there the prior week for some performance upgrades. After finishing business with David Harrison, I left to have lunch with a colleague. On my way home I had just pulled off of GA-400 at GA-20 and was stopped at the first southbound traffic light. I had just started off when the light turned green when SMACK!!! I uttered an expletive and looked in my mirror to see it filled with an 18-wheeler, driven by some dead-from-the-neck-up idiot.
The car was flat-bedded back to Harrison's shop, where it awaits the next step. The good news is that the impact was high up, and therefore had little effect on the floorpan. She may be salvageable.
