Catherine Stier arrived in 1866. Next door are Catherine Louisa (Ziegler) Stier, who's listed as head of household, as husband J Philip passed in 1896. It says that she arrived from Germany in 1868, which is a 2-year discrepancy from her namesake daughter (1866). Sons Jacob (age 30; banker) and Fred (19) are also living in their mother's house.
